An Interview with Chicago Weekly
Yesterday the Chicago Weekly released their Interview Issue—a collection of conversations and interviews with distinct personalities and creative types on Chicago’s South Side. We sat down with Bonnie Fan, one of Chicago Weekly’s regular contributors, to talk about our creative process with our first book, Chinatown. The Weekly, a student-written community newspaper from the University of Chicago, is completely free to pick up around the neighborhood or read online. This is actually the second time the Sun Bros have appeared in the Weekly. Back in May of 2012, Rebecca Stoner wrote a piece called “Worth a Thousand Words” after dropping by one of our monthly Doctor’s Consultations at First Aid Comics. These monthly book club meetings are a great place to meet other comic fans and creators, read some great graphic novels, and stay connected to comics culture on the South Side. We’ll be meeting again on Sunday, March 3 to discuss Criminal Vol 6: Last of the Innocent. Stay tuned for more details!
