Last year, we met up with Travis Nichols, the newly appointed Content Editor at Gumroad. For those of you who don’t already know, Gumroad is the site we use to sell our work online. We’ve got physical and digital copies of Chinatown and Apocalypse Man for sale on there, and while perusing the site Travis took notice of our work. During a cross-country trip to his new job on the West coast, Travis stopped in a number of cities to interview Gumroad users he wanted to feature. While in Chicago, during a ridiculously heavy rainstorm, Travis swung by Sun Bros Studios and asked us about our upcoming book. The video is embedded above, but you can check out the full blog right here.

If you look closely at the beginning of the video (around the 0:25 mark), you’ll see that Brad is actually working on some illustrations for Monkey Fist! At the time we shot the video, all you got to see were pencils and inks, but we’ve come a long way since then. Here’s the finished product of what he was working on then:

Want to see more? Check out our Monkey Fist Art Gallery on Facebook and stay tuned for more previews, sneak peeks, and behind-the-scenes features as we get ready for our next Kickstarter launch! Also, if you missed out on our last Kickstarter and want to get your hands on Chinatown and Apocalypse Man, come visit our Gumroad page to have us ship you some books or give you a download link right now. Once our Kickstarter campaign for Monkey Fist is over and we’ve got our third book in print, we’ll be putting the whole Sun Bros collection up there as well. If you haven’t tried Gumroad yet, now would be a great time to check it out!
